thread collective is a licensed architecture studio.
Our passion lies in the exploration of the seams between building, art and landscape, both in the literal sense of crossing disciplinary boundaries, and in the manipulation of space. A broadly defined notion of sustainability, existing site characteristics, and the sensory experience of the user further inform and strengthen our design process. While the three partners share common ideas about design, the collective was conceived of as a core that would facilitate collaboration at a variety of levels and interests.
